Term life insurance is also colloquially known as cheap life insurance. This type of insurance differs from whole life insurance, in that it is only effective for the term of the policy. It does not offer a cash value and once the term is up, the policy is no longer valid. In other words, as long as you pay for the insurance, you get coverage but if you stop then you do not.
A life insurance policy needs to be renewed when the term ends. The only time this policy makes a payout is in the event of the policy owners death, at which time the beneficiaries are paid the full agreed upon payout amount.
By making this insurance valid for the term of the policy whether it is 20 or 30 years, insurance companies can make the policies available at very inexpensive prices. When you approach a green light, all signs may point to go, but theres a chance a risk-taking driver is speeding through a red light perpendicular to you. According to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 700 of the 7,000 traffic-related deaths in 2008 resulted from individuals running red lights.
Plainly following the rules of the road can save hundreds of lives every year, which only goes to show that poor drivers have a major and negative impact on our lives no matter how safely we drive.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there were 10.8 million motor vehicle accidents during 2009, of which nearly 36,000 individuals died within a year as a result of injuries.

Investing in some basic furniture and placing it in positions that can be seen from the ground floor windows is an effective way of giving the impression that someone is still living in the property. In addition to this, putting a lamp on a timer helps make the property look inhabited – although if the property remains vacant for many months you should bear in mind the differences in sunset times, and adjust the timer accordingly.
An overgrown garden is a big clue that a property is vacant, so paying to have it mown – or doing it yourself – regularly is a good idea. Making sure post does not build up is also important, as burglars, vandals or even squatters look for such signs.

Buying a used car can be tricky business and many consumers consider a range of factors before even taking the vehicle for a test drive. Although used cars offer many drivers the benefit of affordability, it turns out that this may not be the leading factor most Americans prioritize when shopping for a used vehicle. A new study released by CarMax.com shows 45 percent of all drivers look at quality as the most important factor in their decision, over price and auto safety.
Men and women were somewhat split on the issue of quality, with 53 percent of men prioritizing it vs. 37 percent of women, according to the study. Overall, 22 percent of shoppers said price was the most important factor when shopping for a vehicle, and safety concerns came in third, with 15 percent prioritizing this factor.

Last month, a closure of a portion of Interstate 405 was given the name “Carmageddon” by local officials, the Associated Press reports.The purpose and preparation of the closureThe AP reports a 10-mile stretch of the busy freeway that connects the San Fernando Valley and the west side of Los Angeles was closed for demolition of Mulholland Bridge. The demolition job created about 4,000 tons of rubble, the news source reports.The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority predicted a disaster of sorts, and planned similarly to their disaster preparedness steps for an approaching hurricane or flood, the news source reports.
